【明報專訊】冥王星（Pluto）去年被剔除九大恆星之列，卻成全年最潮用語。美國俚語學會周五召開周年大會，評定「被冥王星了」（plutoed）為2006年度詞語，意思是指被「燉冬菇」。
國際天文學聯合會去年決定，冥王星因不符合行星的定義，把它剔除於太陽系九大行星之外，從此，冥王星這個名詞便被人當作動詞使用，形容「使某人或某事降級、降格」，成為被炒魷語的代名詞。
美國俚語學會會長埃文斯說：「我們的會員相信，公眾對冥王星被降級的強烈情緒反應，顯示冥王星這個名稱的重要性。我們或許不再相信羅馬神話的冥王普盧托，但我們對這顆過氣行星仍存在個人感情。」
擁117年歷史的美國俚語學會，成員包括語言學家、語法學者、歷史學家等。他們以投票形式評選周年詞語純為好玩。

正字工程 Letters From Iwo Jima
話說戰爭片 Flag of our father 係有另一個版本，同樣以 IWO JIMA 琉磺島之戰作為故事的中心，不過就以不同的角度去寫，Flag of our Father 就睇左，基本來說算係唔錯啦，不過 Letters From Iwo Jima就未上，我當然未睇啦，但係本地自稱「最有公信力」的日報以及呀虎網等中文媒體，都將Letters From Iwo Jima 琉磺島戰書的英文變成 Letters From LWO JIMA , 即係點呀, 咁大間傳媒, 咁都寫錯字

時凶感應(Deja Vu)
於7月4日美國獨立日，一艘渡輪發生爆炸，聯邦調查局證據搜查員Doug Carlin(丹素華盛頓飾)發現這宗懷疑恐怖襲擊案竟與一宗謀殺案有關連，死者為少女Claire(保娜柏頓飾)。在查案過程中，Doug被調派往聯邦調查局的一個新成立組織，在這裡，藉著運用一部名為「時間之窗」的高度保密機器，他可以回到四日、六小時，或是數分鐘前查案。Doug決定回到過去制止Claire的兇案發生，並同時破壞恐怖襲擊的計劃。但當他愈深入調查，就愈發現案情錯綜複雜，恐怖襲擊背後隱藏著意想不到的驚人內情，而且牽連甚廣。更峰迴路轉的是Doug竟然在查案過種中不自覺愛上死者Claire，使他的任務更添難以預測的變數……
以上是Yahoo對時凶感應的介紹，呢套片我在Dec 21 已經睇左優先場，不過說實，我就只係覺得麻麻好睇，而且故事看似完美，但主線犯駁，在加上戲中伏筆太多及太明顯，所以不大好看，而且Denzel Washington 背重飛，變成個人科Show ，Denzel的確好戲，不過比Insider 來說，沒有太多的對手，所以只係麻麻地，大場面只得開場時的渡輪爆炸，之後就係查案及Denzel 發現原來「時間之窗」係兩個唔同時間的聯繫，咁就一直靠佢去追查時件，只有4日零6小時，之後，幾日內都係一步一步將事件推去事實，最後連Denzel 用「時間之窗」回到過去都未能改變，不過最後一刻就由Denzel 改變左, 爆炸冇發生，而未來Denzel 死左，亦將整個TimeLine 改變，推到另一世代，Idea 同未來戰士/回到未來差唔多，不過犯駁不少，我覺得不算太好，白白浪廢了好演員。
